Wishing you a FAB NEW YEAR …
… may 2014 bring
Health & Happiness
to my family, friends and all those I have been lucky to work with or for.
Spring morphed into Summer and then the roller coaster started!
I am very pleased that some of you found my work interesting enough to hire me, for this I ‘thank you’.
I must apologise for the lack of blogs, in short I have been blogging but not my own, I have taken control of a few others from around the world and interesting they are, from photographers to presenters – all good fun.
BBQ territory was served on many a hot summers night, I was considering moving my office outside at one point! I do love my alfresco writing, the shades have been on whilst lapping up the rays and concocting communication cocktails – ‘ice and a slice’ of course!
Holiday season now over, the hard work continues. My second project is very much at the fore front of my mind, the weekends see serious writing continuing, late night candle burning is back on the agenda as the moths watch on.
WHITE RABBITS ….. and all that Jazz!
February and March blended together – mainly work, head down to the grindstone. I was hoping to emerge in Spring but I am waiting for that switch to be ‘thrown’.
In the main I have stayed quiet on the work front, keeping my usual clients topped up with a bag of words as and when they require – concentrating mainly on my projects albeit a hard task to stitch into the day, hence my candles burn late into the morning – FLAME ON! In fact I enjoy the late night writing, no distractions, something to be said for quiet solitude, candles and darkness, the imagination runs riot!
NOT good to write up to the bedtime line, or is it? – WHY after five minutes of my head hitting the pillow my mind wanders to the threads, I start thinking of amazing story lines and end up grabbing my notebook to etch the new twists and turns ……
…… ALL GOOD FUN, flame is ON!PS However, I have date next week to read a new book by Simon Toyne, ‘The Tower’, final book in his wonderful trilogy – if you have not read the other two books WHY NOT – GO GET, I assure you will not be disappointed. BE sure to clear your diary as they are page turners alright!
To all my family and friends here and across the shores
– Happy New Year –
may 2013 bring health, happiness and love in copious amounts, with a dollop of prosperity for good measure
As time slips away from 2012 I will leave you with these words…..
To see the world in a grain of sand
and to see heaven in a wild flower,
hold infinity in the palm of your hands,
and eternity in an hour.
